Prohibition is so 1933, but it makes for one heck of an inspiration from a design perspective. So we were thrilled when our Bottle Shop 33 client presented us with this inspiring packaging design project for a private-label red wine that would be crafted for and sold exclusively at their shop.
Using a Bigsby's Folly Craft Winery red, our goal was to put the Bigsby's branding up front and center while purposefully incorporating the Bottle Shop 33 name. We explored designs that incorporated a portion of the Bottle Shop logo, the number 33. Giving an enthusiastic nod to the year when national prohibition was ended by the federal government.
Our team absolutely fell in love with the creative process, and had a difficult time deciding which label to present. Here is a sneak peek of a few of our favorite designs.
But at the end of the day Both brands in the private label partnership loved the chosen design for its prominent use of the mascot illustration. This project was a true example of finding joy in our craft.
